Now just compare that height difference of the two of them from 1990 compared to their face off in 2003. Hogan has about 4-5" on Vince here and in 2003, he appears to be fractionally taller than Vince. Also imagine a prime Hogan again Lesnar, HHH, The Rock, Stone Cold, etc... These are all guys he was barely taller than in 2002-2003. In his prime he would have towered them all the way he towered Vince in this video.

Well the fact that most say they have a rownded up size arms is impossible,at 250lbs I had one arm 16.75''and one (right)17.25''now at 210lbs one is 15.5''and the other is 15.75''.and Ola if hogan has lost weight then he's arms are going to be smaller,and you cannot train at 55 like you could at 25 also to get realy big you have to do a lot of heavy squats and deadlifts,and with he's hips and legs thats no very likely.

Magnus Ver Magnuson who was 6'2"-6'3" and weighed around 285-290 pounds was said to have 21" upper arms. Hogan was definitely bigger than that in his prime, SO, 22" is VERY believable at over 300 pounds and minimum 6'5".

Hogan was a huge guy, he stood out, he had huge arms, legs, a giant head and he wasnt that lean, i can see him being anything upto 350 max and not much less then 300 (apart from mid to late 90's where he looked around 250)
Hogan wasnt just big for a guy walking the street, he was big for a wrestler, 6'5 and 320 lbs.
i know a few guys who are 6'5 and 265lbs and they dont look anywhere near as big as hogan in his prime..
20lbs on a 6'5 guy doesnt show like it does on a 6'2 guy.
Until you stand next to wrestlers its hard to realize their size (or lack of) i met demolition and kamala and they were huge!

I'm sure it's a work. Hogan had huge arms but not 24 inches. They probably cut the first 2-3 inches off of the tape (or whatever it took to get to 24 inches when measuring his arm right before the show).

Its not remarkable that they are exactly 24 inches, a lot of body builders/weight lifters know their exact measurements of arms, thighs, calves, waist etc. Thats the only thing Hogan did have to market himself, he didnt have massive thighs or big lats....he had big arms, and i believe he had at least 23.5 inch arms peak. You look at some other videos of hogan in various talk shows in the 1980s, his arms look HUGE when he isnt flexing, they look the size of most of the talk shows hosts! But not a lot of definition.

Remarkable is that if it is true that Hogan was 6'7" in his prime then he couldn't be almost 6'4" today. Due to the surgeries it is impossible that a human looses almost four inches. Hogan's height must be around 6'5 1/2" in his prime and 6'4" today. Beside Greg, Hogan appears to be 7 inches taller because he's standing in front of Greg and if one guy stands in front of another guy, then he appears to be taller. If Hulk and Greg would stand beside, I'm sure that there would be only 5 inches difference.

Both Magnus and Hulk have similar arms, hulks look like they are more defined, but not my much. Both have a quite a lot of fat on their arms COMPARED to bodybuilders such as Lou or Ronnie etc. Magnus's arms were measured in his training video 'worlds strongest arms' at around 60cm which is 23.5 inches or so.

Coleman is only 5'10 and Hogan was 6'5+, so even if they had the same arm size, Coleman's arms would appear larger, because he's shorter.

You probably have 10" arms yourself to think Hogan had 15" arms. Those were the size of my arms when I was a fanatic weight lifter from 2002-2005 (they measured 15" in early 2005). Nowadays I don't work out much, but my arms are still 14.25" (and that's a cold measurement). At his peak Hogan had about 5 inches on me in height, 100+ lbs in weight. He was on the juice and probably trained harder than me and was on a better diet than I was. Plus Hogan is a mesomorp and I'm an ectomorph. If Hogan had only 15" arms, that would mean my arms would be bigger than The Rock's arms. Yeah right!
Like I said yesterday. Watch the video where Hogan's arms were measured at 20 inches. If you want to be a hypocrite and ignore that evidence, than I'm not even going to try to take you serious anymore.

Hogan was probably a little bigger which must have impressed the host, but I wouldn't say a 6'4 285 lbs guy is dwarfed by a 6'5 295 lbs guy (I'm not saying those were their heights and weights, I just picked some close numbers.)

The video doesn't lie Ola, so why don't you just admit you're wrong! His arms were measured at 20 inches, and both parties (Hogan and the TV-hostess) gain nothing by fakin' this measurement. On WWE tv Hogan still referred to his arms as 24 inch pythons, so if he wanted to fake a measurement, they'd probably measure up closer to that 24" figure.

I don't think he was any more than that because he was just in to good of shape, no gut and no fat. If you look at those huge NFL linemen today who are 6'6 & 6'7 and have the big bellies almost hanging out of their shirts and they are still only about 330. If you throw a beer gut on him then he goes up to maybe 330. I think he dropped down to about 300 flat, after he became the champ in 1983 because he then needed to look his best and not just see how much he could weigh.

Fralic was almost the exact same height as John Studd and Fralic was put at 6'5 his entire College and NFL carear. in order to be any amount taller than Fralic, Hogan would have actually had to be a hair taller than Studd which he was NOT! In Hogan's matches with Studd he was always at LEAST 1 or 2 inches shorter which would make Hogan the same height as Fralic at the very best. Its hard to judge hogans height and weight, he looks so out of proportion with short legs, normal body and large head, if you see pics of him standing by himself he looks loke a stocky 5'10 guy (which he isnt) its only when you see him in films like suburban commando or on talk shows around normal people you see how huge he is.
Im a gym instructor and i see people every day who astound me with weight, guys who weigh 260lbs and dont look big, i also take peoples heights daily and its not until you see yourself next to someone in a mirror that you can truly judge height, even standing face to face its not easy.
I have no trouble believing that hogan was 6'6 and between 330 and 350 at his biggest.

I'm not saying I can pin-point a man's weight within the range of 5 lbs. I admit that I was sometimes way off with weight estimates. I estimated Alex' friend (who was well over 300 lbs) at 275 lbs. The same case with my old fitness instructor who was 6'1.5 and build like a truck. I thought he was 230 lbs or something, yet he claims to have never weighed more than 210 lbs.
When I'm trying to estimate weight I approach it the same way with how I estimate heights. I compare them with others which weight I do know to be accurate. When I look at Marella he just doesn't strike me as being a 220+ lbs. I think Marella is 5'10 tops as Snoop Dogg had him by 6 or 7 inches in a backstage segment at Wrestlemania.

I read that Magnus went up to 330 pounds in late years and possibly more, but overall, Hogan was well over 300 pounds at the same height as Magnus (6'5"-6'6"), with larger arms, chest and legs in his younger days (PRE-1987).

Atoadaso is right, I have known guys in my gym around 6'4 = 6'5 and most are around 260 lbs and dont anywhere near hogans size in sheer bulk. They look alot leaner and thinner. Wrestlers weights are no where near as important as their heights, especially the average to larger wrestler, who really cares if they are 240 or 250 lbs? WWE had no real reason to over bill wrestlers weights as no one really cares. Atoadaso is right, I have known guys in my gym around 6'4 = 6'5 and most are around 260 lbs and dont anywhere near hogans size in sheer bulk. They look alot leaner and thinner. Wrestlers weights are no where near as important as their heights, especially the average to larger wrestler, who really cares if they are 240 or 250 lbs? WWE had no real reason to over bill wrestlers weights as no one really cares. Hogan was 6'5+ maybe 6'5.5 and logically/normally rounded up to 6'6. Just like now he is 6'3+ maybe 6'3.5 and would round up to 6'4. Most guys who are just over a certain height are going to round up to the next inch. I just can't go up to a legit barefoot 6'6 for Hogan because he was just to much shorter than a weatherd 6'7-6'8 NFL legit Ben Davidson. But he was in the neighborhood and was no less than a solid 6'5. I'm just saying Ventura might have actually been closer to 6'2. I remember an interview segment where Zeus almost towered him and Zeus was 6'6 max.
Monsoon could have been close to 6'5 in his early years, but in the 80s he was shorter than Bundy who I believe was max 6'4.. Monsoon also seemed to have 4-5 inches on Bobby Heenan who was 5'10 I believe.

I'm just saying Ventura might have actually been closer to 6'2. I remember an interview segment where Zeus almost towered him and Zeus was 6'6 max.
Monsoon could have been close to 6'5 in his early years, but in the 80s he was shorter than Bundy who I believe was max 6'4.. Monsoon also seemed to have 4-5 inches on Bobby Heenan who was 5'10 I believe.

All this talk about guys having 2" footwear advantage IN the ring is rubbish.
The average guy wrestling will have about 1.5" of heel. I seriously doubt any of these guys would walk around let alone wrestle in 3.5" heels.
The absolute maximum a wrestler could have in footwear advantage is an inch, otherwise there would be a lot of broken ankles.

He told me that he saw hogan bench 550 for a 'few reps' i dont know how many that is.
I believe my friend as he isnt into heights/strength or any records.

The way I see it, is that Hilbilly Jim was slightly taller than 6'5 3/4" Tenta (on Hibilly's website) and Hogan was about an inch taller than Hilbilly Jim in the 80's, so NO WAY was Hogan only as low as 6'5" in the 1980's. It is just not logical. Today, Hogan is lucky if he is 6'3"-6'3.5" today (compared to how he measures up to Hilbilly Jim in 2004-2005 (again on Hilbilly's website).

I think he could have been as high as 6'6 1/4". Yeah a lot of posters have some sort of vendetta out to get Hogan. I dont think he would tell that big of a fib unless he really did lose some height after surgery! I think 6'6'' peak and 6'3.5/6'4 today.

I do believe he was 6'6" to 6'7 " in his prime. I also believe 100% he lost 3" from surgeries. wrestler Superstar Billy Graham was a legit 6'4" in his prime and now is about 6'0" due to double hip replacement surgery.

He totally looked like he was physically compressed (he was noticeably shorter than only 2 years before and it showed when he stood next to 5'11"-6'3" men and looked barely taller then them, when only a couple years earlier he actually looked like a tall man. this is impossible since the padding adds 2-3 inches for the people walking on it and then there are the boots which ar 1-2 inches thicker.

I still can't get over how Bill Fralic sized up with big john studd. He is almost the same height, he is less than 1 inch shorter, Fralic was listed by the NFL as 6'5 And studd was getting 6'11 Hogan was having matches with studd at that exact same time in the mid 80's and he did not size up as well with studd. Ola your pics from 1986 is actually from 1992.1986 and 1992 are the same interview. Hogan had that shirt in 1992. watch the 1992 Royal Rumble when Hogan came in and eliminated Undertaker and Berzerker. Mean Gene has less hair in your "1986" pic then he does in 1987 and 1990.

Hogan gets slighted on this site, he might have schrunk up to about 6'3.75 in his old age but back in the 70's he must have been about 6'6. he was about the same height as tiny lister in the late 80's and that's tall, Lister was about the same height as ralph moeller who is always put between 6'5+ and 6'7 so I can't see how a about 1978 Hogan (25yr old) would not be all but 6'6. To many people try to judge a guy's height in there old age and not there prime, I see on the Burt Reynolds sight where people are looking at a recent pic of him and saying he does not look as tall as he has said, the man is like 83yr old. he was 25 in like 1950.

Sorry, but Ralph Moeller was nothing under 6'6" and most likely taller. In bodybuilding he had a 6'8" height listing. 6'5.5" is just too low for him.

Ola most people have lost some height by the time they are 50. Rob will clarify this, some people lose millimeters, some lose a couple of centimeters.

The co-star with Hogan in Thunder in Paridise was Chris Lemon who is said to be 6'2-6'3. If thats true Hogan was a good 2 inches taller than him but no more than that. Making him 6'4-6'5 at most in the early to mid 90's. So maybe 6'5.75 late 70's for Hogan.

What the photos show is that they are the same height. In a couple of them Hogan likes like he is a half inch taller and in a couple Lou looks a half inch taller.

Hogan had pretty narrow shoulders, unlike guys like Sid, Nash, Lesnar, Warlord, etc., so he never appeared that huge (except his arms). At his peak (steroid) size, he could still probably hold his own mass-wise with most others, including Lou.
