I always assumed he was the full 6’3, but looking at these 6’2.5 is believable. Rob, what do you make of his picture with the Rock? Sure, perspective is a bit funky, but to me Shane looks around an inch taller here. What do you think?

i think dave chappelle is closer to 5'10 but gillis does look 6'3 with him. he's definitely no less than 6'2.5.

in general i would have thought he could pass for the full 6'3 most of the time.

assuming dave chappelle is a legit 5'11, which i've always thought he looked, shane looks 6'4 with him in this video: Click Here
here's strong 5'11 thomas hayden church with shane as well, taking the angle of the photo into account he looks like a legit 6'3, as hayden church would probably come up to about half an inch above shane's eyebrow level: Click Here
i'd think he's 6'2.75 at the very least, but thats just from my perspective of what i've seen him in. i think in the photo with trump he's a little further behind trump, making him look quite a bit shorter. but his wide stocky frame, large head and slightly smaller than average hands for his size does make him look a lot shorter proportionally.
in general i would have thought he could pass for the full 6'3 most of the time.

Editor RobSomewhere in 6ft 2 range. He did mention once in an interview his coach described him as 6ft 3 (at Football), I know he was once listed 6ft 4 which is impossible really!
