Football players cant really get away with fibbing their heights with wearing boots etc. Owen seems very small from a distance but is probably 5'8. He's always been an inch or so taller than Paul Scholes and Joe Cole (both 5'7)

To me it goes down like this: Owen is height 174.5 cm, Gerrad's is 186cm (he has the tendency to not stand up straight in team photos, so that gives the impression of being like 1 or 2cm shorter). Terry is for sure 187cm, although I think he's actually 186cm and Lampard is 182cm...

I really think that Michael is 172-173cm...Haha yeah Craig Bellamy he is a guy who looks short in the field. Actually I've seen him listed 5'7'' a few years ago, but nowadays he gets always listed 5'9''...

In his autobiography at the back of his book 'off the record'it says he is 5'8" nad thats him saying that.

Here's a pic from which you can indeed confirm Owen as being 5'8", Sol Campbell whom I always thought to be taller than 186 cm and Emile Heskey who I always thought to be shorter than 188 cm both tower over him. But how you can really see is that Ashley Cole is always listed as 170 cm, and Owen if taller at all, looks to be max 1 inch taller. Gerrard I think is more 184-ish to be honest.

i saw the hole team of england. It was on a friendly match against germany. there were on the way to the stadium and i would say 172cm is right. And beckham is 180-181cm.
