Bud Abbott's Height

American actor and comedian, best remembered for the comedy duo Abbott and Costello, who appeared in films like Buck Privates, Hold That Ghost, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and The Time of Their Lives. In an MGM anniversary book from 1944, it mentioned he was "5 feet 11 inches" at a weight of 150 pounds.

I know the jury still out for Lou Costello
If you look up Bela Lugosi and Lou Costello it gets tricky
Lou looks 5'4 zone but Bela maybe 6'0.5
Look at Elvis and Lou Costello
Elvis 5'11.5 zone
Lou easily 8 inches less puts him at 5'3.5 zone
Next to Abbott he is over 4 inches shorter
Next to three stooges Shemp Howard who was 5'5 zone looks 2 inches less
Do you think it's safe to add him and just put him at 5'3.5?
He's definitely 4.5 inches shorter than Abbott at a minimum

And yes agreed I think it's safe (for whenever) Lou is added to site to be 5'3.5
Some can argue 5'3 and some will argue 5'4
No way he was 5'5 that's for sure...
Eventually I'll watch the movies again
Also there is the Abbott and Costello show I think on Amazn prime
I watched a few episodes in the last month or so
And definitely more than 4 inches between these two looked like about 5 sometimes
Used to watch the movies with my dad since I was little
They are still funny but in this day in age not things newer generation be interested in
I'm in my 30s now but always appreciated the older things
